Trivia is one of the most exciting nights at the Sports Cafe. Participants come from several surrounding counties to participate. Teams compete weekly for prizes. They are eligible to win a $50 gift certificate for first place, a $20 gift certificate for second place and a $10 gift certificate for third place. In addition to competing on a weekly basis, the trivia teams have a yearly competition going as well for the yearly Trivia Championship Award. The team winning the championship receives individual plaques, as well as a team plaque which adorns the walls of the Sports Cafe Etc. They are also treated to a steak dinner and drinks, as well as receiving monogrammed shirts for Trivia Champions for the current year and an individual personal gift certificate. Let us not forget one of the most valuable prizes they win is the bragging rights for a whole year. These teams meet and battle weekly, and even though they are friendly before the game begins and after the game has ended for the evening, they are fierce competitors during the heat of the battle.

    Trivia questions are prepared and propounded weekly by Trivia Trixie ( a.k.a Judy Camp ). The questions range from easy to very difficult. They can be on subject matters covering anything from geography to sports, to food and drink, to gardening. In other words, nothing is off limits when it comes to asking trivia questions at Sport Cafe.
